Mood: Bored
Listening to: Poe - Today
But here I sit anyway.
I think this week needs to get over really fast. For my sake, and the sake of everyone around me everyday. I've been mighty crabby this week. It's a combination of alot of influences. Work, friends, lack of sleep, lack of appetite. Lack of lots of things. Most of which we won't get into right here.
Just to keep the masses updated:
I've been trying the visualization techniques that Olympic stars use when they visualize themselves winning the race or whatever. Everytime I buy myself a lottery ticket I see the fancy guy on TV reading off the numbers and I feel my heart beating faster and screaming OH MAN OH MAN!!.... Just to psyche myself up for the real win. You know? Because if you believe it, you can achieve it - right? Or wait - am I applying that Tony Robbins mumbo jumbo to the wrong thing?
Roseanne is back on 5 nights a week again. PHEW. She was missed on Mon-Wed and Fri.
My apartment has turned into a vast disgusting wasteland of laziness. I'll do it tomorrow. That's the mantra in these parts. Either that or "It can wait until Saturday."
Damn. Saturday is coming up, isn't it?
Rob and I got a letter and some pictures in the mail from his dad. He addressed it to Rob & Wendy Root. We'll blame it on the hormones, but I almost cried. I laughed and laughed as I brought the mail in the house. It was a good feeling. I can't wait to meet him.
The next book I'm going to get into is The Secret Life of Bees. Jeanna gave it to me in July. I'm excited to start a new book!
You HAVE to read THIS ARTICLE I don't care if you don't give a rats batootie about politics, you need to read this. I don't want to voice my opinion because I can't manage to say anything important without sounding like a moron. Either way, read that. Jeanna, if you're reading this blog, take a minute and read it. :-)
Anyway - I suppose I should get off this chair and into bed. It's Friday tomorrow and I need to have at least ONE decent day this week. Cristy is debating whether she's going to visit this weekend or next weekend now. I hope she comes this weekend. I could sure use the company and the distraction from the boredom that has become my life.
Or I guess I could just clean my apartment. It will be Saturday after all.
PS
SAY NO TO BUSH
(for the record, I'm trying, but it keeps growing back)
