HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROBERT JAMES

Mood: Craving that birthday cake
What's On: CSI reruns

Today the most important person in my life turns 24. He's a celebrated kind of guy. His phone was ringing non-stop this morning and into this afternoon. His family is crazy about him. And so am I.

We went out on Friday night with Jason and Marina. We had dinner at the Ground Round and then Marina, Rob and I headed over to Rats to shoot some darts. After 30 rounds the machine gave up on us so we still don't know who won. On Saturday we went to the U of M homecoming game against Minot State (and cheered for Minot, duh). Then we checked out some scenic Bismarck spots because it was such a nice day. We later went to Ladder 49 with John and Suzy. It was a good weekend. Today we hung around the house, I cooked dinner - and fell alseep on the couch.

He left a few hours ago to work in Mobridge for a few days. It was so nice having him back home, it's going to be wierd to have him gone again. But it won't be 6 weeks worth of gone. Just a few days.

I have a Dr. appointment on Tuesday. I'll also get to make the next appointment for 3 weeks to find out the sex of the baby. That's pretty exciting! 3 weeks seems so far away, but I'm sure it will be here before we know it. My belly is getting bigger and I've been feeling more baby kicks lately.

Other than that, I think things have been going pretty well. I've got Rob's new comfy jammies on and I'm almost ready for bed. But first I have to go see about some birthday cake...
