Watching: The Olympics

So I've been watching the Olympics this evening, and dammit if I don't cry after every American gold medal. I've cried so much tonight I don't know if I have any salt left in my body. It's not sad or anything so I guess that's good, but jeebus man MAKE IT STOP.

I just got done wiping my eyes from dear Carly Patterson's All Around gold in Gymnastics tonight. That girl has the shortest eyebrows ever to be crafted, but the odd thing was was that earlier tonight I was clicking through my links and went to MSNBC and saw that she won - like an hour before I actually watched it.

I knew how the whole thing was going to turn out but that didn't stop me from turning on the water works. I had just better turn it to Roseanne before the medals ceremony.
