It's About Time For My Arrival

Well, she's back. She's tired, she's got red itchy bumps from something or the other and she's tan. What more could a girl ask for besides 10,000 extra freckles (cuz I got them too)??

Above is a picture I took of our hotel. It was a nice place to stay. *sigh* I miss it already.

I fell in love in cancun.
Those beautiful blue waters still leave me breathless.
I can't wait to see them again.

I've scanned in a bunch of pictures and hopefully I'll have them posted up sometime soon. I had such a good time, you guys. Relaxing by the pool or hanging out at La Ruina (the best cantina in all of Mexico) was probably about the best thing I could have done for myself.

I brought back some sand, some Mexican bandaids, and some hydrogen peroxide. Blisters are a bitch! Barefoot is the way to go.

I made a few friends and a gazillion and two memories. Each one I know will be cherished.

3 things I don't care to ever hear again:
1. "Hey Lady, you want braids?"
2. "You want lunch? Margaritas and Beer"
3. "2 For 1"

So that's my trip in a nutshell. Too much to write about right now...my head is still cloudy. It's like a dream when I look at my pictures. A very good and warm dream.

Back to the US .... I can't believe we're probably going to war tonight. I still don't think it's such a smart idea, but I guess I've never considered our president to be a really smart man. I read today that Baghdad is already evacuating people in preparation for tonight's speech by Bush. I think I might have to ditch work for an hour to come home and witness the inevitable bombing of our country's somewhat peaceful reputation.

But there are my 2 cents. Valuble insight worth about.... 2 cents.

MUAH!!
